Stallioning 03:16
I’m a wild roaming stallion And I’m motherfuckin’ free Wind blowing through my mane Until the break of dawn I’m on the rooftop I’m free from the range I’m a motherfucking stallion I’m braying on the corner No bets on me Hoofs beat the ground Until the break of dawn I’m running in the subway I’m jumping over tracks And I’m never looking back I’m sitting by the art museum, at the art museum café Drinking a cup of coffee and eating a croissant I’ve been in an equine state of mind But I stare down the hillside and just sip my coffee Until the sun goes down

Quick arise Sun is up Movement stifles all regret Cash is low Coffee’s hot Busses run until they stop Tie your shoes Stay awake In a state of disorder! Spit in ivy Flex in shade Labor in a real trade Sit and talk Time don’t slow Smoke and stew, your pride demands it Hurry up! Sun is low Night already, skin grows cold Who’s a wastrel? Who’s a waste? You cry out for just one taste Tie your shoes Stay awake

Redline 01:48
How many municipalities are there In the Saint Louis County I read somewhere that there are a hundred (are you serious?) Are there that many of you Are you that unique That you need your separate schools Firemen and police Well excuse my ignorance I come from way down south And there they call it something else Separate but - what? I think I read it in a book Or I heard it in a history class Some governors down in Dixie Didn’t like the way that they interact But who wants to pay for taxes In places they're scared to go You call yourself a denizen But you've never ridden the metro Well excuse my ignorance I come from way down south And there they call it something else Separate but Pardon the insinuation I can’t find an explanation And Ferguson still is wondering if it’s Separate but - what?
4.
The Fourth 01:46
Friction between my neck and spine Tissue grinding, it frays like twine Sunder my brain, deconstruct my skull kick in my face, and then you’ll see Blood pumping veins, that move my lips Taut vocal cords, with useless quips Sunder my brain, deconstruct my skull kick in my face, and then you’ll see Placed in a magnetic machine, watch the bodies start to grow Count the bodies and the bodies and the blood, and the centimeters it could grow How’s the eye feel when it’s closing? Does it feel concrete? Does it feel like the way that we’re feeling as we’re all losing our sleep? Sunder my brain, deconstruct my skull kick in my face, and then you’ll see
5.
Simple Joys 03:18
The simple joys of disposition seem to escape me Difference between what I want and what I need Minds full of poison, bodies full of fumes Running pretty close to empty Body’s feeling pretty heavy, spirit’s feeling pretty low All and all it’s not that great, but it’s what we know Minds full of poison, bodies full of fumes Running pretty close to empty
6.
What It Is 02:45
I can’t tell if we’re just kids I just don’t know what it is It’s something about this place I know we said that it wouldn’t be long I know we talked about moving on We got something left to do Beyond that

4244 03:50
Devil’s Tower - way up high - close encounters - of a kind Change of heart - that’s a start - pick my brain - pick apart In a moment - of clarity - a hairy vision - appeared to me Not an angel - not a dog - it said something - who cares what? Stranded alone - isle of jazz - get me out - before I go mad Trumpeted palm trees - saxophone reefs - tonal atoll - what a cacophony
8.
The Ooze 02:14
Running down your eyelids (you know you’ve read about it) Running down your nose (you know you’ve seen it) Running past your lips (you know you’ve read about it) Running to your toes (you know you’ve seen it) I am the ooooooze I am ever seeping (you know you felt it) I am never sleeping (you know it sees you) I run up your back (you know you felt it) I fill all the cracks ‘cause (you know it sees you) I am the ooooooze

Open the windows Float on out I see the world Cars as they go Roads and rows All the people Down below Open the windows Float on out I see the world Untold heights Bleak blue night I pass quick Out of sight

Warm Skin 02:30
I can feel a bit more calm Let it go, let it go, let it go, go on Just want to dip in a pool Just want to dip in a pool Smell the rubber burn fragrantly Everything melts eventually Just want to dip in a pool Just want to dip in a pool Sweat dripping out of every pore. Nothing but heat and UV rays. What’s my melting point? Stick, stick, stick to the flesh. I don’t even care anymore about this heat. That’s the way it is. I know, I know, I know it’s going to be really hot. Warm skin, I wanna swim. Warm skin, I wanna swim.

I’ve been down elevators and up escalators I’ve been up escalators and down elevators I been walking around this mall for so long, honey, I can see through the back of my head O endless aisles, you break my heart! O halls of marble, you recreate me! O teeming hordes, you break my heart! O teeming hordes, you recreate me! I don’t feel good (I feel good) I don’t feel good (I feel good) I’ve been scanned by lasers and cameras I’ve been aroused by sweet smelling colognes Come stare at my image in the fountain, honey. Take my sticky hand and lead me home O endless aisles, you break my heart! O halls of marble, you recreate me! O teeming hordes, you break my heart! O teeming hordes, you recreate me!

The sun was high and bruising on the fifth of May. My nose could smell the pollo and carne asada that hung in the air at the People's Joy. I could practically taste this lust for life suspended in the bubble of a moment that was about to pop. There was a cavalcade of Volvos, pyrotechnics galore, people wheeling about on unicycles and Bug Chaser being drug on a float to the bend in the road. At the end of the parade I walked into the blood vein of the festivities, clogged with booths and revelers. Children played in bounce houses where Apop used to be. I guess independence can leave you high and dry. I watched the mechanical bull, whirling and jerking in robotic fashion, flinging bodies onto the mat below. Not that he knew any better, but it must be hard spending your life pushing people away from you. It is said the bull nodding in agreement, saddle covered in thigh sweat. “What does red even look like?” he asked. I didn’t quite know how to answer that question.

Time To Ride 02:52
Been waiting round for what I know Got time to kill, before I go Some place called home, some place called home Been waiting round for what I know Stuck in a daze, same old routine Just moving through the fog of a dream Fuck the grass and its shade of green Same old daze, same old routine Seen places far, been places wide Don’t know what lies on the other side But now I know it’s time to ride Seen places far, been places wide No. Place. Else.
